Mid City Spring
Mid City Spring

In a few words. Yesterday just sucked.

This is a musical household. So, you know what I’m talking about it. He lived for 57 years. He was one of a handful of musicians who changed music. And, who lived at the same time that I did.

If you’ve read Storyteller for long enough you know what I think. The work is the prayer. I haven’t been very good at the work lately. But, I had to work yesterday. This picture is about the best that I could do. If all art is autobiographical than this picture just about nails it.

Thanks, Prince. RIP.

  1. Heard a demo today of ‘Glasscutter’ that Prince had recorded in George Benson’s studio basement in Hawaii !! Of course, he just goes down there and plays all the instruments himself and …..boom !!! You won’t hear this in many of the tributes but trust me if you can chase it down……

    1. That used to be in “Prince’s Vault.” You went to his website and subscribed. You could hear a lot of his legendary unheard work. But, the site is closed. I’m not sure if he did that, or it was done by his estate. We aren’t listening to many tributes. Good collection on our own and my musical miss uses a bunch of Japanese websites that are playing music that was recorded live from various Japanese concerts. “Live at the Budokan” sort of things. It takes a giant work around t convince them that we are, indeed, located in Japan. Of course, we are not. 🙂
