Leaves are still falling. Sort of. Around here leaves never really turn into the warm colors of fall for long. Mostly, they turn, die and drop to the ground. This happens in one day. I suppose that if I wanted fall color I’d have to chase it somewhere to the north. I keep saying that I will, but I never plan for enough in advance. Someday.
There is a huge second line tonight. For Fats Domino. Since it’s been publicized in every possible place that it could be, I expect a huge turnout. Except that it starts at 5pm. That means that those folks who have real jobs will probably just be leaving work. You know. Rush hour.
Assuming my poor old creaky back is in the mood, I’ll be there. You never know with physical issues. I already know that I won’t photograph it the way I would in the past, which would mean a very long walk and a climb up stairs that look more like a ladder. I’ll either photograph the start or the end, which is in front of Fats’ house. Probably there.
This picture. What we in Southeast Louisiana call Fall. That’s about it for color. Hahahahahaha.
