Manchester

Flowers for Manchester.

Roses.

For the City of Manchester, Ariana Grande, her band, crew and staff. And, of course her fans and their parents. For the first responders. For all of England. For the rest of the world. And, for you. And, me.

There will be millions of words written about the bombing at the arena in Manchester that took the lives of 22 people, and wounded just under 60. The world doesn’t need many more words from me.

Besides.

I have no words.

Except for just these few. Don’t be denied. The work is the prayer. And, prayer without work is meaningless. Take all of that as you will.

Peace.

  1. This broke my heart yesterday but it got broken more when a clash between our local soldiers and a local rebel group (which is maute group) in Marawi City in the southern Philippines happened and affected not only people but also establishments. The rebel group has burned the city jail, a university and a hospital. So I agree we have to pray. It’s the least we could do. 😦

      • Ray, Jazz Fest was so awesome that I haven’t been able to document it yet. There were music moments that were transcendent. Local Thursday, not surprisingly, was the best.

      • It happens that way. Last year’s fest had an amazing moment. Neil Young was into playing more sonics than notes… all the while people were standing in six foot deep water while rain was pouring and thunder and lightening was rattling the sky. Magic. Sheer magic. Thursday is always good. Smaller crowds and I happen to like the local and regional shows a lot… I’m glad you had a good time. 🙂
