There’s always one more.
Just as you are getting ready to hit the road. Up pops a picture. This is a fine example of that. I don’t need to travel very far, at least at this point in the journey. Up pops amazing light. Some graphic shapes. A subject. My position perfect for my kind of framing.
I made the picture. And, some very nice seconds and thirds. This is an example of chasing the light with no preconceived notions. No photo bucket list. No real brain function. Just let my muscle memory take over. Just see without numbers getting in the way. It’s one example of why I like to travel light. No stuff to fiddle with. Nothing to get lost. No last-minute addition or subtraction. Instead, I pick up the camera, check the adjustments and just take the picture. Easy. Economical. Exciting.
Often, I feel like I am part of the picture. That’s where you want to be. I think.
