Let’s Dance

Dancing in the street.
Dancing in the street.

Yesterday was such a terribly sad day. The world mourned.

So, today there is only one thing to do.

Let’s dance,
Put on your red shoes and dance the blues
Let’s dance,
To the song they’re playin’ on the radio
Let’s sway,
While color lights up your face
Let’s sway,
Sway through the crowd to an empty space.  — David Bowie, 1983

The pictures were made on Sunday at the 25th Anniversary of the Lady Jetsetters second line. I think you know the rest.

    1. Thank you. Yesterday was very sad in this house. Just know that I call her musical miss for a reason. Yesterday, it was Young Americans and his new album, which is truly transcendent. A little more jazz driven.
