Tires and the Magnolia Housing Projects

Tires and the Magnolia Housing Projects

I promised y’all this a few weeks ago. A little more about the Magnolia Housing Projects and what is still standing. It’s been raining a lot so I’ve been using that as an excuse to be lazy, which made me pretty non-productive. Eventually, I will get out and make a few more new pictures. But, to continue the trend of laziness I’m going to ask you to scroll back a few weeks if you want to learn the history of this place.

This is purely a photo essay. It’s not even a classic photo story because it isn’t about process, it doesn’t have a beginning, middle or end and it’s not about a person. It is about a place. But, it’s just a bunch of pictures that I like.

My favorite? The detail of the beer bottle and the railing. Looks like never-ending Christmas. Or, not. Mostly, not.

The spacious and convenient interior.

Found art. A Heineken beer bottle and red pasted rail make everyday seem like Christmas. Or not.
