There is nothing like a hot summer night in The French Quarter or on Frenchman Street.
There is nothing like a hot summer night in The French Quarter or on Frenchman Street.

Another hot summer night in New Orleans. People on the streets. People out doing… well, just about everything. Eating. Drinking. Listening to Music,. Shopping. Buying. Strolling. Riding. Cruising. Fun stuff. Not much more to say about that. Just that I’m always amazed that even with the general misery of the heat and humidity, and the added fuel of a little too much alcohol, that our hot summer nights are as peaceful as they are in these kinds of touristy and entertainment strips. Of course, when you get into some of the neighborhoods that may be a different story. I’ll leave that for another post on another day.

The picture? Oh, the old way. F8 and be there. Except it was more like F4 or F5.6 and be there. And, let the light and color fall where it may.
