I met this Thai farmer driving down a tiny road in the farming region known as Issan. He was herding his cattle and a few water buffalo. As I did with the farmer is yesterday’s post, I asked him with facial expressions and pantomime if I could take his picture. He smiled and nodded. I made a few quick exposures and I showed him the picture on the camera’s LCD screen. He looked at them and laughed. I’m pretty sure he was thinking that same thing that I do when I look in the mirror; “What the heck happened to me?” Oh well. It’s still the best option.
