There are a lot of Photoshop plug-ins that help with the manipulation and improvement of newly captured images. I use a couple of them. But, one that I saw promoted on one website was something that created Bokeh.

Hmmmmm. Bokeh is the out of focus subject matter that adds a sense of place or context to the sharp subject. On of the so-called Bokehs looks like the picture on my post. I suppose. I made this one by keeping the lens out of focus on bright lights.

I realize that most of the improvement plug-ins are just helping us with a set of actions that were pre-recorded. But, this seems to making post production work just a little too mechanical and robotic. If I wanted that, I’d get a job in a factory manufacturing widgets. Really.
